Meetings

Everyone is invited to come and join The Blackbeard's Scuba Club at there monthly meeting the first Friday of January, the 5th, at 7:00 pm. We will meet at Tony Rama's located at 7 East Bay St. We will be having Greg McFall give a presentation the 'Gray's Reef you've never seen'. Hope you can join us; it's always a good time when divers get together. Email Ryan if there is a problem with the time or place.

 Classes

February 12-18, there is a Open Water Class.  The certification trip will be at the Florida Springs, January 17 & 18.

So if any of your friends are interested in becoming a diver call (912) 756-5260 or come by Georgia Offshore for more information. All divers are welcomed to come and dive at the Florida Springs.

Trips

February 17-18,  there will be Florida Springs trips to Blue Grotto and Devil's Den.

March 9th, There will be a scuba bus trip. The bus will depart at 7pm and go to Epcot to do a Dive Quest dive on the 10th. Then they will go to Crystal River on the 11th to snorkel with manatees. The cost looks around $325 which covers the bus, hotel, dive, and snorkel. The dive at Epcot is optional and will be paid individually with the park. There are only 4 Dive Quest dive spots left open additional non-dive slots are still available. 

  November 10-12 there will be a West Palm Beach,Fl. trip. Check the forum for a trip report of the last scubabus trip.  Space is limited. The cost is going to be around $320 per person. This price includes 4 open water boat dives, transportation to West Palm Beach in a custom coach with sleepers, double occupancy hotel room. For an addition fee of $50 you can do a night dive and for a fee of $40 you can have a room to yourself. Click here for more information or to reserve a spot.

We will be organizing trips in the near future. As soon as a trip is set up, we will let you know. Since the club is small, it will be easy for all of us to be able to go on a trip. But if the membership grows as we hope, there is a chance trips will become a first come - first served basis.
